By accessing this website and purchasing our products or services, you agree to comply
with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions & Nature of Service The Business:
Thread Geeks operates as an independent material kitting and sourcing service based in the United Kingdom.The Service:
We source, measure, cut, and sort genuine DMC stranded cotton thread from wholesale cones onto custom cards to match specific publicly available pattern specifications.
The Product: We sell physical thread bundles only. We do not sell, reproduce, distribute, or provide cross-stitch charts, patterns, digital files, fabric, or instructions (unless they are Thread Geeks own Kits).
2. Pattern and Copyright Compliance Customer Responsibility:
It is the customer's absolute responsibility to purchase and own the official, legally distributed cross-stitch chart for their project.
Independent Operation: Thread Geeks operates independently under Nominative Fair Use guidelines.
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any pattern publishing house, company, or individual artist.
Brand and pattern names are used purely as compatibility descriptions.
To support the creative cross-stitch community, Thread Geeks only offers thread packs for charts that are not already commercially available as an official DMC kit or thread pack through another company.
If an official material bundle or kit exists elsewhere on the market for a specific chart, we will not kit it.
We strongly encourage supporting original creators and their exclusive business partners, and ask that you purchase those materials directly from them.
If a custom request is submitted for a chart that has an official DMC kit available elsewhere, your order will be instantly cancelled and refunded in full.
3. Contract & Cancellation Buffer Contract Formation:
A binding contract is formed when we send you an automated order confirmation email.
The 24-Hour Rule: Because all materials are custom-cut to order from cones, you have a 24-hour grace period from the moment of purchase to cancel your order for a full refund. After 24 hours, cutting begins, and cancellations cannot be accepted under any circumstances.
4. Pricing & Thread Specifications Pricing Engine:
Prices are dynamically calculated based on design dimensions, colour complexity, and the manual labour required to prepare the kit.
Thread Estimates: Thread lengths are calculated generously using standard stitching estimation formulas. However, differences in individual stitcher tension or fabric choice may alter thread usage. Thread Geeks is not liable if a stitcher runs out due to non-standard usage or switching to a lower fabric count.
Thread Geeks reserves the right to cancel and refund any custom-cut order where an unauthorised discount or coupon code was applied at checkout.
5. Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Thread Geeks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our physical products, delivery delays by third-party couriers (e.g., Royal Mail), or accidental order placements.
6. Governing LawThese Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from the use of this website or purchases made shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
